Stuart Friebert is a poet and translator. He founded the writing program at Oberlin College and co-founded <i>FIELD</i> and the Oberlin College Press. He co-translated Sylva Fischerova’s <i>The Swing in the Middle of Chaos: Selected Poems</i> (Bloodaxe Books, 2010) with the author. His other translations include three volumes by Karl Krolow, and <i>Be Quiet: Selected Poems of Kuno Raeber</i>, due from Tiger Bark Press in 2015. He has published 13 collections of his own poetry, among these <i>Funeral Pie</i>, which co-won the Four Way Book Award.</p><p></p>
