Stina Katchadourian is an author, literary translator, and journalist who grew up in Helsinki, Finland, and now spends her summers there and the rest of the year in Stanford, California. She translated Tua Forsström's book Efter att ha tillbringat en natt bland hästar (After Spending a Night Among Horses, 1998), one of the parts of her trilogy Jag studerade en gång vid en under bar fakultet (I studied once at a wonderful faculty, 2003), whose English translation was published by Bloodaxe Books in 2006. Her other books include Efronia: An Armenian Love Story (1994) and The Lapp King's Daughter: A Family Journey Through Finland's Wars (2010).
