Robert Reid is Reader in the School of Humanities at Keele University where he has lectured in Russian for many years, a specialist on 19th century Russian literature, and has published translations of many contemporary Russian poets, including Brodsky, Rein, Okudzhava, Gorbanevskaya, Kushner and Sedakova.
