R.V. Bailey (pictured right with U.A. Fanthorpe, left) was a former academic and the extra voice in the late U.A. Fanthorpe’s poetry readings from the early 1990s; together they gave readings throughout the UK and overseas, jointly led poetry courses, and judged a range of poetry competitions. She has tutored many poetry courses, and regularly reviews poetry. Her six poetry collections include From Me To You: Love Poems (with U.A. Fanthorpe, Peterloo Poets / Enitharmon Press, 2007). She edited and introduced U.A. Fanthorpe's Beginner's Luck, Bloodaxe's edition of her early poems, published in 2019.
