Mary O'Donoghue is an Irish fiction writer, poet, and translator. Her books include two poetry collections from Salmon Press, Tulle (2001) and Among These Winters (2007), and the novel Before the House Burns (Lilliput Press, 2010). She is one of the translators of Seán Ó Ríordáin, whose Selected Poems appeared from Yale University Press (Margellos World Republic of Letters) in 2014, and has collaborated over many years with Louis de Paor on translations of his poetry, most recently on The Brindled Cat and the Nightingale’s Tongue (Bloodaxe Books/Cló Iar-Chonnacht, 2014). She is an associate professor of English in the Arts and Humanities division at Babson College, Massachusetts.
