Raving Beauties Readings

Raving Beauties Readings

The anthology Hallelujah for 50ft Women: Poems about Women's Relationship to their bodies, edited by Raving Beauties, celebrates six centuries of poetry written by women.

Two of the anthology's editors will be giving a reading from the book as part of Feminist Book Fortnight, which runs from 16-30 June.  Over 25 radical and independent bookshops are taking part in a two-week long celebration of feminist books in a bid to add to the debate about diversity in publishing and showcase books by women writers.

Feminist Book Fortnight, Housemans Bookshop, Thursday 21 June 2018, 7pm

Housmans Bookshop, 5 Caledonian Road, King’s Cross, London, N1 9DX

Two of the Raving Beauties, Fan Viner and Dee Orr, will be reading from their anthology Hallelujah for 50ft Women: Poems about Women's Relationship to their bodies at Housemans Bookshop on 21 June, part of Feminist Book Fortnight. They will also be talking about how Raving Beauties have endeavoured to support the expression of marginalised female experience in poetry.
