Don Share became editor-in-chief of the iconic US poetry magazine Poetry in 2013, after being Senior Editor for several years. He was previously Curator of the Woodberry Poetry Room at Harvard University (2000-07), Editor in Chief of Literary Imagination, the review of the Association of Literary Scholars and Critics (published by Oxford University Press), Poetry Editor of Harvard Review, and Poetry Editor for Partisan Review until it ceased publication in 2003. His books of poetry are Wishbone (2012), Squandermania (2007), and Union (2013, 2002). He is co-editor with Christian Wiman of The Open Door: 100 Poems, 100 Years of Poetry Magazine (2012), and editor of Bunting's Persia (2012) and of a critical edition of Basil Bunting's Complete Poems forthcoming from Faber (sublicensed to Faber by Bloodaxe Books). He is the translator of Field Guide: Poems by Dario Jaramillo Agudelo (2012), Miguel Hernández (2013), and I Have Lots of Heart: Selected Poems by Miguel Hernández (Bloodaxe Books, 1997), winner of the Times Literary Supplement Translation Prize and the Premio Valle Inclán for Spanish Translation.
